Burgers worth chasing. Catering made easy.
A burger truck experience built for real events, real crowds, and hosts who want food people actually remember.
The Burger Bus brings crowd-pleasing burger catering to private parties, corporate events, weddings, schools, breweries, festivals, and community gatherings — with food truck service, buffet options, and regional partner support when the fit is right.
Built from a bus. Made for real events.
The Burger Bus started in 2016 inside an actual short bus in Santa Barbara, California. Founder Michael Gardner built the original concept with a big, simple goal: create a burger-slinging brand people would remember. The bus eventually made its way east to Denver, Colorado, where Jacob Ibarra carried the legacy forward and refined the operation through real truck service, real events, and real guest feedback.
In 2022, The Burger Bus became part of Food Truck Avenue under David Sevcik, a local Colorado operator and longtime industry friend. At first, we did not try to reinvent it. Michael and Jacob had already built something special, so we learned the system, protected the personality, and slowly expanded the brand alongside other Food Truck Avenue concepts like Mac 'N Noodles, Capital City Wraps, and Colorado Pig Rig.
As demand grew, so did the model. We added a Burger Bus trailer in 2024 and began working with other burger trucks that shared our standards for fresh food, dependable service, and host-first communication. The original 1998 bus has since been retired, and as of 2025, Burger Bus events are fulfilled through trusted partner and catering trucks under the Burger Bus network.
What has not changed is the reason people call us: they want a good burger, a responsive team, and someone who understands the logistics before the truck ever arrives. We help hosts think through timing, parking, service flow, menu fit, licensing needs, and the small details that can make or break a food truck event.
Fresh burgers without the catering chaos.
Burger Bus catering is built around hot food from the window, a focused event menu, and a line that keeps moving. Instead of overwhelming guests with every possible option, we help hosts choose the right burger lineup for the crowd.
We prioritize burgers served hot and fresh, because that is usually where burger catering beats a buffet.
For catering, we usually guide hosts toward 3 mains and 2 sides to reduce wait times and keep service smooth.
We can adjust around dietary restrictions, event type, timing, and the service setup that makes the most sense.
Pick the event. We'll help plan the food flow.
Burger Bus works best when the food is part of the experience — easy to understand, fun to serve, and planned around the way your guests will actually move through the event.
Fast, familiar food for employee lunches, company celebrations, client events, appreciation meals, and office gatherings.
A fun, memorable option for couples who want relaxed food that still feels special for the celebration.
Bring the burger truck energy to casual celebrations without making the host manage the meal.
Event-ready burger service for public gatherings where speed, line flow, and menu clarity matter.
Celebrate big moments with food that feels fun, approachable, and easy for guests of all ages to enjoy.
From small gatherings to large multi-truck events, we help match the service plan to the crowd, timing, and space.
Every event is a little different. We help talk through timing, parking, guest count, service window, and whether Burger Bus or a regional Burger Network Partner is the right fit.
How Burger Bus service works today
Burger Bus started as a single short bus slinging burgers in 2016. Over the years, we learned what makes food truck catering actually work — not just the food, but the timing, communication, and event flow behind it.
Today, Burger Bus events are fulfilled through a network of partner and catering trucks depending on location, date, and event size. What stays consistent is how we handle the process: fast communication, clear expectations, and helping you plan the right setup for your event.
Whether it is a single truck or a multi-truck event, our job is to make sure the food shows up on time, runs smoothly, and fits the crowd.
Submit your event details through our form. We respond quickly — usually within 30 minutes during business hours.
Choose from simple, tiered options based on guest count, service style, and menu. We help guide you if needed.
The truck shows up ready to serve. Timing, setup, and service flow are already planned so you can focus on your event.
Need more than burgers? We can help there too.
Our network helps match your event with the right food — whether that's burgers, BBQ, tacos, wraps, mac, grazing tables, or a full multi-truck setup.
Great for offices, team lunches, and mixed crowds that want lighter options alongside burgers.

Real people behind the booking process.
Burger Bus uses a regional booking support model so hosts can get practical help with menu fit, truck logistics, timing, communication, and event flow.
Simple booking. Clear expectations.
Most hosts are not trying to become food truck experts. We walk you through the details so the burger truck, menu, timing, and service flow all make sense before event day.
Share your date, location, venue, guest count, event type, and ideal service style through our quote form.
During normal business hours, we usually respond in 30 minutes or less. If you reach us after hours, we'll follow up when the booking team is back online.
We help you compare tiered catering options based on guest count, menu direction, service window, and event setup.
Your event is confirmed when the catering agreement is signed and the menu selection is locked in.
Timing, parking, setup, menu, and service flow are already planned so you can focus on your guests.
Professional catering support, not just a truck showing up.
Good burger catering takes more than a menu. We help define the food, timing, service flow, truck fit, and event expectations before the first guest gets in line.
Our trucks carry their own auto and liability insurance. Proof of insurance and licensing documentation can be provided when requested.
Since 2016, our team has worked in and around real food truck events, so we know what sounds good on paper versus what works in the field.
Burger Bus operates through a network model designed to keep events on track. The truck may vary by market, date, or volume, but the planning, communication, and service expectations stay clear.
