Our Story.
Not EVERYTHING that moves here from California is a [hassle]. Case in point: the Burger Bus. While this storied food truck started in Santa Barbara in 2016, it’s since become a Denver classic for one big reason: Its burgers are that awesome. After migrating to the mile-high state in 2016, its original owners immediately fell in love with the passion and flavors of Denver’s food scene.
Even though ownership of the truck has since passed to Denver natives, the same west (coast) meets (mid)west passion can be seen in the Burger Bus’ giant serving sizes and creative ingredients combinations.
Fast forward to today, and the Burger Bus is Denver’s go-to truck for both gourmet burgers and plenty of school-days nostalgia. In fact, the Burger Bus is actually an old school bus that’s since been retrofitted to cook some of the best (and biggest) burgers in town.
From the rich balsamic flavors of the Burger Bus’ Librarian burger (which comes with pesto and fresh mozzarella, too!) to the classic Classman Burgers, there’s something for “students” of all appetites. Feeling especially hungry? The Senior burger offers a full ONE POUND burger with all the best ingredients and flavors that Denver has to offer.
Of course, remember to save some room for Recess! More specifically, the Burger Bus’ Recess fries come complete with green chili, grilled tomato, avocado, and fresh onion. If that last sentence has you hungry, you’ve got the right idea.
Otherwise, you might want to “study” up on the menu a little more!
